To Chaparral 2J Owners...

...so I am stuck at Historic Racing Car Cup... My Bob can't win in his Shelby Cobra, Countach, or XJ13... So I was wondering if there are some people who could share the car.
Who can, just add me into your friends list, and put your Chaparral 2J in "Share with Friends" mode. I would really appreciate that :).

You cant use their cars when its set to share with friends.

All that does is allow you to see a thumbnail picture of the car so they can sort of show of wich cars they own.

Totally useless feature, since there is like no point showing a car to anyone when everyone can have the exact same cars.

Now if there was a livery editor.....
 
Yes - RM 69 z28, change oil, upgrade EVERYTHING, make sure you check max speed for the transmission (i think stock is like 135mph, obviously needs to be higher), and full downforce.

Car is fast, and very easy to drive.

Really? :grumpy: Why put this feature in the game then? :S I thought you can let your friends use that car without gifting it :grumpy:.
Anyway, thanks. I guess no1 will trust me and gift that car for the race, so I'll try to get Toyota 7. But I've heard that bob also hates that one :guilty:. Anyway, thanks for info, lock.
 
But can bob win monaco with the toyota 7 i know mine just failed completely and horribly trying to drive that car on that tack.

2j car in the ucd for 14 mil and change and another mil in repairs. For that much it should have 0 miles on the odometer.
 
My bob tore it up with the Toyota 7 that was modded/tuned, took the gear ratio way down for monaco.

As for the sharing I think what that's for is so you can host an online room and friends in the room can use them there. I think there is an option in one of the event/regulation settings to use cars from the host's online garage.
 
I used the Toyota 7 for that event and won. Monaco is much harder, especially if the 2J is in the pole position. I restarted once so that the 2J was in third place, and overtook it on the first turn. I won the race by about 8-10 seconds.

B-Spec is a separate issue...
 
I must have got really lucky with these events, my Bob beat this championship first time in a Ford Mark IV with plenty of time to spare lol.
 
My bob killed both events in the Toyota 7. Monaco was slightly more difficult, however proper tune won it for me :)

The feature is there so that you can have online races between your Bob and your friends Bob. It hasn't been implemented yet, but it should be soon hopefully. I think the idea was to start the races using the GT5 website.
 
I used the 2J in B-Spec with lowest suspension, geared to 150mph and 3rd Stage turbo and just kept telling my BOB to go faster on the straights and slower at the chicanes.
 
RogsR34UK gave me his 2j and I won! Too bad I have my daily trade limit so I'll send the car back to him in the next 24hr!

Still you would be having problems with Toyota 7, because second race Chaparral is the Devil. When i finally give my Bob Chaparral 2J then he won with huge advantage. 👍 Only thing i did just to make sure he will win this time was make gearbox a little shorter. He make his way to leading position before firs lap ended. So you doing right thing to trade Chaparral. Sadly i used all my slots for like 10 days now so i cant send my refrigerator to you
 
I already am stuck with one. I kept spamming overtake and my bob took the lead just after the chicane on the last lap! I am proud of him :}.
 
If you can keep the Toyota7 away from the barricades, it will win, there is a tune for it that really helps out too.
