This thread is about a recent smart-ass comment you left in a thread of mine.

Its people like you that give other drifters bad reputations.

I'd suggest you abandon this user name and pick something less insulting to others.

Please explain to me how the hell my username is "insulting to others" and how so it's people like me that give drifters a bad reputation?

I've had that name way before half these people knew what drifting was, and how dare you say It's people like me that give drifters a bad reputation. When frankly, you don't know a god-damn thing about me. For all you know I could be in the D1GP... that would show you what a royal douch-bag you are.

Please explain also how when you first opened the thread how you were "insulted" by "MaN-i-CaN-dRiFt". If that really insulted you I would what would happen if someone stepped on your shoe, in real life.

I think someone needs to take there greedy, Administrator power happy self outside for a change. stop sweating the petty stuff dude. It's a message board for crying out loud..

But I know your probably gonna be a douche-hole about this too and end up banning me. But before you do, let me say... the last time i was active on this forum was waaaayyy back in 2005, where I made 1 post.. Before that it was in 2004. So if you think your going to piss me off by banning, your wrong..

I'll let Der Alta hande this, because he's perfectly capable. However, I will point out that you've got enough violations in one post to warrant banning, no matter which user you were ranting against.

Also, if you will not miss this forum, why not just leave now? The feeling is mutual, I'm sure.

This thread shows you're looking to get spoon fed the information. An incredibly simple search that you couldn't be bothered to do yourself. In fact if we review all of your recent posts, the attitude is present through out.

As for insulting, your attitude and typing further reinforces the stereotypical young attitude and over zealous ambition to proclaim your drifting ability. This combined together further reinforces the mindset of people that look down upon drifters. Something GTP has worked very hard to overcome. Your attitude, posting style and undeserved arrogance associating yourself with drifting is what is insulting to other people.

Now, for what I know about you. I know you use Text speak, love to proclaim your love of drifting, and feel the need to show your appreciation for "low ryda" hondas. You can't be bothered to search for, or find on your own, simple well documented, and posted information. Plus you feel contempt for anyone that attempts to correct you. All good strikes towards getting on the staffs radar. Which you've now set full in sight.

I'll not ban you for your original posting, or even the above post. I'm sure that the rest of the staff was awaiting my response to this, before they take issue with your attitude above.

Now, as for this being "Just a message board". Many people have spent coutnless hours working on this site, and to many of us, it is considerably more than "Just a Message Board". As for the "petty stuff", this is the internet and petty stuff can easily destroy a site. We work damn hard to make sure that this is one of the most informative, and easily read/understood sites regarding Gran Turismo. If we let all the petty crap go, it soon would consume this site and all we'd have nothing better than this.

And I simply refuse to accept that.

I'll unlock this thread, and give you the chance to edit the above. After all, I do have it in PM form from you as well.

It's all good, and as for the "low" rydin" hondas My screen name is ment to be a joke. But people don't know how to sit back, relax or have a good laugh these days..

As I stated in my post, I did infact try to search. My search turned nothing up. Hense the reason I asked. But it's pretty retarded for someone to point their finger and make asumptions, which you did. You have no idea who I am. and yea, you probably don't care who I am but what if.. just what if, lets say Im a D1GP drifter or something. Of course Im not, but you never know..

So do what you gotta do, ban me, warn me, whatever..

It's all good.

I really don't see how his usernames are offensive, we all are different, so we decide to have different usernames. MaN-i-CaN-dRiFt, wheres the offense in that name? I might understand if it says MaN-u-CaN't-DrIfT though. I do sense a slight over reaction from Der Alta's post, but cut him some slack, he has to deal with spammers and the pain of being a Administrator all day, and he does clean up the site and make it what it is today. He deals with people who posts "Free Ring Tones" and more.

I'm not picking sides, but rather trying to let y'all settle your differences rather than to be like ":censored:ing GRR!!" to each other.
 
First of all, making the thread title "Omg... Lqqk!!" is quite annoying itself. You could have at least made an actual title like "I need help hybriding in GT3"

Second of all, you could have checked the stickied threads which contain the program to hybrid cars in GT3, and the converter that converts the max file into xps and vice versa.

In my opinion there was no need for you to overreact or for you to make this useless thread.
 
I saw the thread when he made it and never made a comment because:
1. Knowing man I can drift, I would think that he would of read the stickies since he has been here awhile
2. The Title
3. Waiting for a Moderate to close the thread

Okay, so you've been here for ages (3 1/2 years), which means that you should know where to find what (stickied threads for example) and not to use thread titles like "Omg...Lqqk!!!". But you didn't, so you must reckon that you'll get an appropriate comment from a mod or admin. And that's exactly what has happened. So what's the problem?

What are you talking about? were not flaming his title because its spelled wrong, were flaming it because its a misleading and pointless thread title which tells nothing about the thread itself.

I took it more as an attention whorish type of title
