LOL, no, we have to stick to forums on this one. Can you just imagine the response if I made posts in the Rumble Strip not count toward post counts? That would have been a great April Fool's joke... :mschievou

So did you ever find that code for vB that would track the quality of someones post? I remember you inquiring about it, or even giving some examples from different forums where it had been implimented.

I didn't really look for one much. The other forums are using custom BB scripts, or one of the other big packages. Sure would be nice though.

Ok Jordan, how about this. Either create a new forum (heavens no!) or just move those "useless post count" threads to the Test Forums.

Haha...can you recommend some useless post count threads (other than "How many replies can we get?") to get rid of? I think the Thread About Nothing would be a good first candidate.

Yes, they are, but it's fun to be part of an online community, and people like doing fun things.

I think its a bad idea. Why not let them count? Loud - you yourself say post count doesn't matter, so why do you care if others gain a higher count in ways you don't think are acceptable?

Jordan, set everybodys post count so it doesnt go up, at all:D:D:D

Better yet, make it so that for every post you make it goes down 2:D

Or don't worry about post count at all.
Once I got 10 posts, I was happy.
