To do the birthday exploit on gt5 do you have to copy your game date to a hard drive?

To do the birthday exploit on gt5 do you have to copy your game date to a hard drive?
and does it have to be all of your ps3 game data or just the gt5 game data?
can the alternate account be a sub account or does it have to be a main account?
or can someone just plz gift me a race car from '66 caz i need one (jagg xj13 '66/ferrari 330 p40'66/ ford mark IV '66)

You make a new account and when you sign up say your birthday is 10th July 1966. Then when you've made the account go on GT5 and you will get a 1966 ticket. Add your main account as a friend and send your 1966 ticket to your main account. This will get you one of the following cars:

AC Cars 427 S/C '66
Alfa Romeo Spider 1600
Duetto '66
Honda S800 '66
Jaguar XJ13 Race Car '66
Shelby Cobra 427 '66

To have a chance at getting the Ford or the Ferrari you do the same thing but you say your date of birth is 10th July 1967 (when you are making the account).

The 1967 ticket will get you one of the following cars:

Chaparral 2D Race Car '67
Ferrari 330 P4 Race Car '67
Ford Mark IV Race Car '67
Honda N360 '67
Lamborghini Miura P400
Bertone Prototype CN.0706
'67
Mazda 110S (L10A) '67
Mazda Cosmo Sport (L10A) '67
Mercury Cougar XR-7 '67
Nissan SKYLINE 2000GT-B
(S54A) '67
Toyota 2000GT '67

If you are trying this birthday exploit tomorrow You'll have to say your birthday is 11th July 1966 (if you want a chance to get the Jag, the chance of getting the Jag is 1/5) or 1967 (If you want a chance to get Ferrari or the Ford. The chance of getting the Ford or the Ferrari is 1/5).

Basically to do this exploit you say your birthday is today's date in 1966 or 1967.

I hope you understand what you have to do because I spent a lot of time typing all of this.....

thanks alot!really helpful just what i wanted to know sorry u had to type it so long!
but do you have to delete any game saves or copy them onto a usb/external hard drive?
and when you put ur alternate account on ur ps3 do your old trophies get deleted with your old game data?
does it have to be a sub-account or and main account (parental controlled kind of sub account)
and one last thing do you make the account on the ps3 website just like u main account? :ouch: 👍

I did a 1970 account, hoping to get a Chapparal 2J, and got a Honda Z-act.:p haven't made any other accounts since then.

Dupe the ticket dude and keep reloading untill you get it :)
 
Once you've made you account and made friends with main account and got the ticket, then don't open the ticket or send it yet. Put a USB flash drive in the PS3 and save the game data. Because the cars you need are not tradable you will need to send the ticket to your main account (don't open it until it's saved in your main account), then delete you alternate account save data and re load it from usb so that you have another ticket to send another time if you want to ( I also make a back up on laptop for future use)
Ok so now you should have a ticket in both accounts. So now log into your main account on ps3, Don't start the game, save the game save data to USB and also onto laptop and cloud storage incase it goes pear shaped (as a side note if you do ever reload from laptop you will see your garage pictures aren't right,clicking on each car will restore this)
Ok you have it saved now start the game and accept and open the ticket. Don't like what you won? End game and delete save data and reload from USB. Try again until you get what you want.
So you want another car from the same year? Then send the ticket again from you alternate account but don't forget to save the ticket again (you should have it on laptop now anyway) And don't forget to save you main account data before opening ticket incase you get a car you don't want.
 
You just have to create a Sub-Account on your PS3-system (in the main menu far left)
And then do with your sub account Ferrari_1996´s description.
PS the Jag XJ-13 is a price Car for the Indy 500 endurance race
=> stick to the 67-Ticket (Ferrari P4, Ford MKIV, Lambo Miura or Chap 2D) or the 70-Ticket (Chapp 2J)

Nothing will be lost from your main account.

You can't copy save data and load it to a different account I tried that between 2 sub accounts before and I think but not sure that the data was then changed to what the previous account should have been.So don't do this or risk upsetting your main account.
ALWAYS save your main data to a usb stick and copy it onto your pc or laptop so you can always go back to where you started.

I have a user on my PS3 names GT5DATAONLY and when my main game data has something like a ticket I clear that users game save and copy the main account game save to the backup account. Once the ticket is safe on the back up you can open it, and if you don't like what you get just log out delete your main GT5 game data, and copy over the back up to your main account.

Yep, that's what I do.
1. I copy my data onto another user but don't run GT5 on that user. Go on your user, press triangle on the save data and copy it to another user.
2. Then run the game on your main account and use the ticket.
3. If you don't get the car you want, delete your save data, go to your other user and copy that data back over to your main account.

Whenever you get a car you don't want, do step 3 and then step 2. Keep doing this until you get the car you want.
 
i got a chapparl 2D race car '67 but when i try to send it to my other account it says 'this car cannot be given to a friend'.
what do i do???????????? sorry if im making trouble for u guys.:guilty:
 
You can't send cars worth over a million. You need to sent the unopened ticket to your account, not the car.
 
Why do you need them?? To do historic race?? Cuz the.only way to beat it,OS tuning the car all the.way,in b-spec only the Toyota .7 race car and the 2j and 2d can beat.it,I have beaten them both btw:))
