Im sorry if this is a repeat thread, Im writing this more in the hope that it is read by Mr. Bell and whoever else can't be bothered to read the actual Need for Speed threads. After attempting the Nurburgring 6 times now, on the works series events (using a Zonda R), Ive come to the conclusion that i know MANY others have already come to.
The AI (and handling), in this game, is THE most horrendous i have ever encountered in any racing game, ever. I know a lot of you do not share this view but i think it is undeniable that many others agree with me. My main issue with the difficulty of the AI (and by the way, putting it on easy appears to make no difference on my game) is that I am a casual racing game driver who likes earning fair amounts of money and buying extremely expensive and fast cars, having fun whilst in the process. Now, GT5 allowed me to do this for a while but eventually get's pretty boring, TDU2 is just..broken and i can't play Forza as I am on ps3. I also drive with a controller with most of the assists on (as i said, im a VERY casual gamer). This game is so difficult that i spend more of my time staring at the menu screen contemplating selling it, than actually playing it. Maybe i am approaching the whole thing wrong, maybe this game is not marketed at me, in which case i should sell it. But Shift 1 was so much fun that when i heard this was coming out it got me pretty excited.
Im sorry to say, Mr. Bell, that without a patch soon, i believe many people will give up on this game. I was in town today and walked past CEX (a games exchange store for those outside of Britain) and actually stopped to take a photo of the number of copies that had been brought in and are now being sold second hand. I personally wish to stick with it a bit longer, as it has enormous amounts of potential. I just find it frustrating that so many games seem to be released now that feel like Beta's.
Sorry for the long rant, like i said, i was made aware that this was the site that was read by employee's (as the NFS one is not well moderated enough or some nonsense).
I do not require a response particularly, i just hope you take note of what i (and so many others) have said. Thanks.
