Has anyone got this game? Well has anyone got this game and is playing online? Fellow GTP member Keeno_UK accidentaly ordered two copies of this game, so I took it and ordered him a copy of GT4 in exchange. I managed to get the online all setup through my router pretty flawlessly (which I wasn't expecting) and I had a couple online races against some German blokes and American blokes.

It's pretty fun, but I thought it might be even funner (is funner even a word?) if we could have some races with all the GTP members.

So! Buy this game and go online with it if you already haven't! Now! Go! Yes! You!
 
Yeah, I tried this game ONLINE. Most of them just bump you for no reason. A lot of driver in that game is really bad. It's easy to get first when you're a GT3 veteran. Besifde that, the game is fun & half realistic. The very sim mode is too hard for average player, so you'll rarely see them playing on that level. :(

Though, once you play too much of that, you'll lose most of your ability in GT3, cause the engine of TOCA is easier to drive, so beware! If you know some good player or friend to race, I recommend this game.
 
Guess I could get my network adapter out of the box its been sitting in for gosh..almost a year now...and give it a try!....Even though I'll have to buy an extra cable, since my PS2 isn't that close to my router and with my setup, it would be almost impossible to move it any closer then what it is now...

I'm down for trying anything at least once!
 
Toca Race Driver2. excellent game, I havn't played it online though, i think ill have to try it out sometime.
 
Damnit, I haven't played this, been too busy with the GT4 demo.

I'll have to get some stuff unlocked.

Yeah, the online is pretty good. Well if I was able to get around to playing the actual game, I haven't touched it since the first time I played it. But I don't have much time to play.
 
Its nice to see a lot of people playing this game online, I usually play online during the weekends cause thats reall my only free online time since I haven't got a router and have to share the direct connection with my pc which is forever inuse of the internet. So maybe I might see some of you guys in the main rooms

No its mostly likely that I will win due to my experience on the game and the fact that race idiot only played it once I bet he would refuse my challenge anyway :D

I havent actually played tocar race driver2 online, i'll probably get disgraced though!!
 
I should play this game, but i'm too busy with the Master League to bother with any other game at the moment.
 
Just got out of my first online match. Aside from occasional mistakes, it was SWEET. I hope GT4 can be this easy to use when it goes online.

Handle on there is "Bentar"
 
This is kinda off topic, but I was thinking about buying this game and have two questions I hope someone might answer.

1. Can you race any car on any track in the single race mode? I've played the xbox version and this isn't possible but a friend said it is possible in PS2 version.

2. Does the PS2 version have a harder difficulty setting to make the handling much more realisitic? (Again from before mentioned friend)

I work weekends so it'd have to be later in the evening if I raced. I'm alright at the game, but nothing amazing. I can usually hold my own.
