This is TOCA TUESDAY!
this is going to be one of the most exiting series in Gran Turismo, and on GTPlanet with 3 races a night!

This is just like the regular TOCA, but on tuesday.
A – All cars shall conform to the exact tune shown on the below post. IF A PART IS NOT ON THIS LIST, IT IS NOT ALLOWED. Failure to conform to the stated specifications will result in Points Deductions and possible Disqualifications.
B – Events are held in my Lounge.
C – Events are run on a Tuesday.
D – The Lounge opens at 7pm Atlantic Time.
E – From 7.00pm Atlantic time there is 30 minutes Practice. The room will run with grip reduction set to low. This enables people to enter the room, settle in and prepare their car.
F – From 7:30pm, the room gets re-set with grip reduction set to it’s final value of “realistic”. From then a 15 minute timer is set for qualification. As soon as the timer runs out, Race 1 shall start.
G – Race’s will be run from a standing start.
H – Race 2 and 3 are reverse-grid events.
I – Between races there is a 10 minute-interval, set via the automatic countdown.
J – Set-up changes between races are allowed.
K – Penalties are off
L – Damage is limited
J – This is touring car’s so bumping, rubbing and small taps are par for the course. But excessive and deliberate moves across half the track to take someone out are disallowed. Remember – be hard but fair.
K – Drivers are not allowed to repeatedly block one another.
L – Any incidents will be reviewed by me and others, as I will have all replays saved. Warnings and Points Deductions will be handed out if necessary.
M – Kerb cutting is allowed if you have 2 wheels on track. However I appreciate at a track like the Nurburgring’s final chicane with its movable barriers, or Monza, this may be more difficult to implement.
N – Quitting a race in anger or because you are running near the back of the pack will result in you starting on pole automatically for the next race. This is prohibited as it is a cheap way of gaining pole and in theory an easy to win. If this happens, you may be excluded from the race and / or forced to serve a stop-go penalty in the race itself. However, if the person has dropped out due to server / connection issues, or missed the previous race entirely, a slightly more lenient approach shall be taken at first. If the problems continue to arise frequently then penalties may follow.
O – We will use the the BTCC Points System: 15-12-10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1 Pts will count for all 24 races.
P – Foul language in the lobby and / or other negative conduct will result in points deductions and bans.

01 - Nurburgring 24H (Change Weather / Time) (Change Time) (DATE TBC)

The NGTC Era roars into life at the Nurburgring, the most daunting circuit on the planet stretching for miles through the Eifel Mountains. That in itself is a daunting challenge, but the races are at different times, with varying light levels... Not to mention the unpredictable weather.... One thing is certain... the winner will need skill and luck to conquer the “Green Hell”.
02 – Autumn Ring
11 LAPS
This Italian facility is a scenic track that looks already set to be an instant classic. High kerbs, chicanes, overtaking area’s aplenty and even a bridge section will make this one of the greatest rounds of Season 3.
03 - Monza (Change Weather) (DATE TBC)
6 LAPS
Monza is a truly legendary circuit, steeped in history. It is also incredibly fast, with three chicanes and the tricky Parabolica the only corners that involve braking. Victory here will go to the tactician, who can maximise the power of the slipstream and out-brake and out-manoeuvre his opponent. However, Rain is another factor... it will be wet and extra hazardous...
04 – Cote D’Azur Monaco

Monaco is an Iconic circuit, the millionaire’s playground. But in Touring Car’s the slightest glimpse at a casino or yacht will put you in the barriers around this two mile labyrinth of streets. Solid walls and tyres punish you. Monaco is a track where only supreme skill and car control brings you victory.
05 – Tsukuba
16 LAPS
Tsukuba punishes tyres. Short, but twisty and narrow, a rhythm is important here with limited track space. Overtaking is risky but it is possible... Of course sometimes it isn’t, and so an encounter with a very hard wall is also there.
06 – Indianapolis Road Course
8 LAPS
Half oval, half infield makes for a set-up headache as the series heads stateside to the legendary Indianapolis circuit. Do you pursue speed but lose stability under hard braking and twisty corners? Or set-up nicely through turns but be left in the slipstream of a rival? Mastering the set-up is key to success at Indianapolis.
07 – Laguna Seca
9 LAPS
The TOCA Series has to negotiate the notorious corkscrew for what could be a championship deciding round of the series. Laguna is narrow, and sand traps punish mistakes dearly. Judge your move carefully, and wait for the time for the strike – for it could win or lose you the championship.
08 – NURBURGRING GP/D
9 LAPS
A wide straight... enough for five abreast... into a sharp hairpin. Carnage at the hairpin is guaranteed as the championship finale rolls into town. Also this track punishes tyres, and set-up is a tricky mix of speed and acceleration. Who will win Season 3 – we will have to wait and see...
A – The Next Generation Touring Car, or NGTC for short is heavily based on a road car. Compared to the last-gen TOCA Car, there instantly two recognisable differences – A TOCA car had 276hp and weighed 1100kg. The new rules change this, raising power to 305hp and the cars base weight to 1250kg MINIMUM. Also parts are more standardised – each car MUST have only the parts specified in this chart, or the car will be deemed illegal. The only RWD car in TOCA, the BMW boasts supreme acceleration and pin sharp handling, with none of the understeer problems found in it’s rivals. However under power, the car is prone to snap oversteer and is a beast to control at times.

The Honda lacks the torque of its rivals, so on first glance appears to be a slug. However it is easy to drive and surprisingly nimble, and potentially a match for the very best. Also it boasts arguably the most impressive looking aero kit in NGTC and perhaps ever in TOCA history.

This car is a very fast platform. It’s got decent start speed, and handles very sharply. In fact some drivers may find it too over-sensitive for their liking.

Mazda have perhaps the richest pedigree in TOCA with the previous Atenza. This looks even more dramatic and maintains a good balance of speed and handling, standing a chance of starting Mazda’s winning TOCA form.
