Well today is my last day of summer break and I have absolutely nothing to do. I spent the weekend with my girlfriend which was cool. So today I am just taking it easy getting ready for the second year of college to start. I pretty much cant do anything for at least another half-hour because my pants are in the dryer. Anyone else start school tomorrow?
 
I've already started my semester back and boy has it started off like crap. Every class has a few hours worth of studying and I've got no time for anything else it seems like. Enjoy this last day to the fullest, just sleep a lot. You're going to wish you had time here in the coming weeks.
 
I started on the 17th.
 
I moved-in on August 20. It's been fun so far, since I'm no longer a nervous, always-getting-lost-in-this-huge-campus freshman.

I have no problems with getting lost even though my school is in the middle of Chicago. I just dont like school and I want it to be over and done.
 
What don't you like about it?

well, i live in Canada and we don't have middle school here, but today was my first day of High School (grade 8). i seem to be able to get along with others well, so i'm pretty sure i'll do good
 
I started on August 10th, It's good to be back, but my god, I think my peer's I.Qs have dropped even more than last year! :scared:

My classes are alright, (Phsycology is a bore, though.)at lunch the food is crappy and overpriced as always, so I spend most of my time in the Library during lunch in the Social Sciences section. (The Librarians look at me weird.)

I've got a huge break this semester. I get out of class at 10:30AM and don't have to report back to my next class until 2:30PM. I usually just head back to the dorm and sleep. :)
 
Well yesterday was my last day, and today I was back in school. I'm in Leadership class (sort of like a Student Council) so I had to help the newbie Grade 8s which meant that I needed to be at school at 8:30....I'm sleepy.
 
You lot have got it easy.

Just wait until you're working and only have four weeks holiday a year. Even a bank holiday weekend seems luxurious then.

Enjoy school while you can, and enjoy the holidays even more!
 
I haven't started my second year of college yet. I think it starts on the 25th of September.

But i have 5 exams for which i failed in the first year and i still have to do 2 of them next week, which means study this week :)

Hope to pass al of them so that i don't have to do them again on my second year.
 
Well how's everybody doing in school?

My schedule is stretched out to the max, I even killed my Study Block for another class.

First day sucked. I lost my wallet. :nervous: I almost got stuck in chicago with no train ticket home.

Lets see, I had my drivers liscense, 2 blank checks (for books), my student id, my debit card, a $40 10-ride ticket for metra, and about $4. Everything was cancelled and I just got an email from my professor saying that he found it.
 
wow omg that really sucks it hard i started last tuesday and my shedule sucks

I come from Chicago but will start my second year in Flint, MI in early October

I got it yesterday and come to find out it was actually 5 bucks :sly:
 
i got my mid-semester report today as we're approaching the end of term 3

only 2 weeks to go yay!:)
 
Mid-semester? You guys go to school during the summer?
