Tommi Makkinen just signed a two yr deal to drive for Subaru...

It wasn't that unexpected that he would be leaving Mitsi because rumor has it that he wants to prove his ability in something other than a Evo!!!!

Expect Richard Burns to sign for Peugeot anyday now!

Countdown to Rally GB has started...
 
Subarus year has been so-so, has it not? I hope this is the right move for him.

I would imagine that Subaru has looked at this year as a 'development' year.

Tommi has a good knack of getting the whole team running around him so I would think that it is definetly going to produce some good results.

My wonder is how its going to affect Solberg.
 
I think it willbe a good move for him but i would have liked to see him the WRC Lancer for the first time.

He was in it for the last rally. If u missed it (which wouldn't have been a bad thing cos' it was pretty pants) u still got time to see it in action at Corisca and Australia and the Rally GB. I'll get some pics of him as he passes me by in GB!!!!!!
