Too bad Saleen sucks, although the S7 Road Car is quite good,
I know that the Saleen S7-R Race Car can't finish a race for the life of it. Everytime i watch a race on Speed Channel with the Saleen S7-R's they are falling apart like nobody's business, they are getting DNF's like 75% of the time. So like 1 out of 4 cars will finish the race in somewhat working order.
Also, for the Saleen modified Mustangs. Why would you buy a $125,000 Mustang which doesnt have a chassis capable of putting its already 260hp down to the ground, let alone with a 495hp supercharged V8.
When I started reading about the Saleen modified Mustangs in the car magazines, It didnt surprise me that the Saleen S351 (A Supercharged 5.8L V8 Mustang with a few suspension mods and 495hp) only did 0-60 in 4.9 seconds, and the 1/4 mile in 13.2 seconds, it is because Mustangs suck no matter how much horsepower.
Car and Driver was scratching their heads too, and they basically agreed with me in a little less direct approach.
