I love this game and have already spent many days of my life in front the TV tuning cars and so on. But does anyone agree that this game can be too easy? What I mean by that is, you can buy a pretty good car, put a stage 4 turbo in it and get it up over 1000bhp, and then go and blitz every race. I used to race a Skyline G T R V-Spec 2 which i tuned up and had running at about 1010bhp, and I would win every race, no matter what the opposition were driving, by at least 10-20 seconds. In the end I put in a stage 2 turbo, just so I would actually have a challenge on the way to the chequered flag. Anyone else find this?

I disagree. It can be easier if you have 1000bhp and your opponent has 95bhp .

However it is a challenge if you keep a few cars untuned without turbos and race against an identical computer car.

Plus racing against mates is always challenging.

The game is by no means easy. Avoiding crashing and getting every corner perfected is a challenge of every GT Racer.

Maximum focus, concentration and other aspects of racing are not easy , even the best of the best learn something new every race.

:gt: :drink:

Hey Mr B , wouldn't you know that's the very race I'm trying to do.

Pro Vitz is Hard ....no 1000bhp in your toyota yaris.....lol :banghead:

It's the only Race I haven't done in GT mode.

Well, yeah, it'll be easy if you just get cars that are way beyond what the AI throws against you. This is why I tend to stick to cars that are on par (or sometimes below) what the AI is driving.

BUT, if this is how you're playing the game, some of the later stage races with limitations might become frustrating unless you're getting good at finding the best line and just outdriving the AI. Try the time trials, see if you can get all firsts there. That might be a good gauge to measure your time against what's in there.

You can make the game as easy or as hard as you want.
You can blow away any competition with a fully-modded car, but that's getting boring after a while.

I try to enter a championship with a similar as the competition, so the game stays exciting and challenging.

But that's my opinion:)

The only time I do that is in races where I know I'll win anyway, and that I just want to get out of the way, especially endurance races (My plan is to get 100% completion, then devot myself to the PD cup, Formula GT, and a few other pro races)

yea, and what percent finished are you......now that you've conquered the begginer level try getting all the lisenses then do some pro league ones with tire damage, thats a challege

I can agree with that. It can be easy in some senses, but it still has those races (such as Pro Vitz Series), that slow you down. There are still some good hurdles out there though....

Now that I have 100% I am trying to make things harder for myself - I'm contemplating tacking the Digital Cup in a Subaru Legacy B4 ('cos it looks a lot like my RX at home), which I don't think I have prayer of winning, but it'll be interesting to see how it goes.

Pro Vitz. God, I screwed that one up. Heh. I bought a Vitz, and I maxed the horsepower, I thought it'd be cool. So I toyed around with (a Toyota, hehe) a competitor the whole race thinking I was all that and ran into a wall or something near the end. Only loss yet.
