Homework sucks this is a thread dedicated to abusing homework and telling it that it sucks!

Well...I have 6 days left of school(3 of which are half days for finals) and I am selective of what classes I do homework for. I do all of it for history, cause I like the class, I do some of it for Spanish and Physics, and I only recently started actively doing hw in Algebra...
 
Here in town, everyone's out of school today (5-24). Or at least public school is (the only one that MATTERS).
 
Well my district(one of the biggest here)compared to the next district over(about 5 blocks away from me, but it spreads far in every direction, Parkway (us) has about 20 schools...)isn't the best. Pattonville(the other district)starts school 2 weeks later than us, and ends 2 weeks earlyer. For some odd reason, my teachers and pricipals say that Missouri has a law that public schools have to be in session for at least 178 days every year. Total bull...most everyone is off already.
 
I HATE HOMEWORK... they sure like to swamp you with it in university.. i got like 5 hours a night. EVERYNIGHT! it makes me want to tear my hair out.
 
I never do my homework. I am serious. I have not once brought any homework home to do. The only way i pass my classes is becuase i have a study hall.
 
Yea troy, I usually only do what I can finish in Lab(we have block schedule, so we have 8 classes, 90 min each, 4 a day, and everyone's 6th block is Lab, where you can finish homework and go to other teachers and stuff). Or I'll just finish it in class if I can. I'll only take it home if it's something that can only be done at home(like typing something up or something). People say that grades show how smart you are...wrong! Grades(HW is a lot of your overall grade in a class) only show your effort, if you do no work you get a bad grade, that doesn't mean you're stupid, it actually means you're smart for not wasting your life doing work that just gets thrown away.
 
I do homework just enough to get by. All that matters is that I pass.

It will come back to haunt us oneday though. Colleges look at you records(hint, hint)... :nervous:
 
I don't do most of my homework because I don't feel I gain anything from it. It is more like busy-work. You don't really learn anything from it if you pay attention in school.
 
Teachers give homework and weigh it as about 40 percent of your grade, so ****ing idiots who just do homework but get 45s on tests pass.

Just pisses me off that morons can pass classes when they have no idea of anything in the course.
 
Wait till y'all get to college (if you get in, after all of this blowing off you homework...).

On top of other classes, I had architecture studio 4 days a week from 1:00 to 4:30. Plus you were expected to spend AT LEAST that much time outside of class working on your stuff, as a bare minimum.

For my main studio alone, I'd estimate I put in 4 hours a day, 5 days a week, every semester for four years. As presentation time approached, all nighters where common. Towards the end of every semester I'd go two weeks without ever getting more than 4 hours of sleep in a row...

bah! i hate that crap! its so gay, and now i have 3 days left, and the entire day is purely finals, so i shouuuuuuld be studying now but ill procrasinate some more. My parents dont really get thrilled when they see my test grades thouhg: 100, 97, 84, 26!!!! haha yeah school blows out the arse.

Well the stupider you are, the more homework you should do. You should do ALL of your homework and maybe 10-15 extra credit assignments.
 
Ya knwo when ya get homework dont ya put it off by doing ANYTHING else (going out, listening to music, watching dumb anime`s, eating) and then you do it at 4am in the morning for about 5min and then say **** this im going to bed. And then hand in 3 lines of text to ya teacher :D

yeah! i do that way to much. Procrasination is like masterbation. It's the best thing in the world until you realize youre screwing yourself:D

yeah, you should be talking......some of us just make mistakes.....This does not mean they are stupid.....or maybe they just like talking like that...

Maybe they are just stupid. Or ignorant, you can choose.

I choose stupid. Hell, maybe lazy is the word. I think you look like an ass when you can't construct a full sentence.
 
all the spelling errors i make are b/c i'm not paying attention not b/c i'm stupid...there's a difference y'all
