I am about 89% complete in the game doing the pro races and the enduros. For some odd reason I seem to have 9 million credits, I then bought a castrol supra a lister storm a tickford falcon, Xj220 road ver and a Aston martin vantage. Then two race series later I was back at 8 million. This never happened in GT1 or GT2. Somehow I prefered it when I was strapped for cash doing the same race series again and again to get a racing muffler for my treuno. So has anyone else had a cash flood in GT3??
 
Yes. U are right. Too much money makes the game a lil bit easy. There should be an entrance fee for every race. And there would be more essential mods to ur car that would cost more. THat way, u wouldnt be wasting money but spending it. And prize money should be less.
 
Just like real life, money burns a hole in my pocket - I tend to buy nice cars and tune them fully (including the full tyre range), so the money goes pretty quickly - but I do have nice things to show for it!
 
exactly, its not too much money if u wanna get every car and tune em up to the max. it makes the game a little easy, in a sense, because u can buy a car and highly tune it, and make your money back fast. but when u wanna get all the cars, the price tags start adding up.

i think i like the prize bonuses the way they are. once i got far into GT2, and i wanted to get a lot of sweet cars, i just ran that crappy red rock (i think) where u win the speed 12. it gets boring doing the same race over and over and over...
 
I have now 21,3 million credits. It takes away the challenge. I buy fully mod use and sell cars for just one race...
 
That's one of the reasons I restart the game all the time.

That's what makes Beginner and Amateur alot more fun. Just trying to eek that last little bit of performance out of your car with whatever little amount of $$ you have.
 
I agree. I liked it likie the begining of the game where u had to wait to modify your car. It was a challenge and much more fun. You really became attached to your car....like in real life.
 
I have noticed that the cash has been adding up latley. I just passed 50% and have 33 cars. Only 2 are fully modded (likely the worst of the bunch , Vitz and Celica (FF)). I have over 900,000cr. Hard earned cash.

Having just the Merc challenge in Beginner left ot do, I'm assuming the payout in Amatuer should be very nice. My plan is to win the TT trophy in Amatuer, mod up the Audi S4 and wipe out the rally session. That should give me plenty of cash, and an Escudo to dump if I need more.

Yes, the cash does come easy. Have no idea if it comes easier that Previous Gt's as I've never played them.

Is the S4 good for rallying? Because I ran against one in the Beginner 4WD Cup and it was not so fast. Maybe with mods it wakes up? A friend of mine has one (well a virtual one) and he swears by it.

And the TT in that race was a total slug-o-matic. I could have beaten it without ever shifting out of 4th gear.
 
The Audi rocks through the rally section. Yes, you do need to mod it up. It launches nicely off the hills. Or maybe I should run the TT in the Rally...Hmmm.

I did attempt the Amateur TT with an un modded Audi TT, but couldn't keep up with the leaders on the straights. I could pick up time in the corners, but not enough to block and draft on the long stretches. A new chip and muffler should do it. maybe a transmission.

I've got plenty of cash to do it.

I got 4 Million Credits(86.8%) cause I bought a few cars (Penzoil Skyline, all Lotuses, Lister Storm, and about 20 more). But mostly I spend it on modding cars, and about 75% of my cars (119 total) are fully modded, though only about 40% of them are tuned. By the way what total Car Value do you guys have(mine are a little higher than 60,000,000 Cr.)?
 
Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit I raced well over 700 times and I barely have enough cash I think I have around 8 mill or so, I wish I had a billion.
 
No one else thinks it's harder to get cash in GT3 than in GT1 or 2? I really think GT3's the harder game in that respect.
 
Heh... im at about 17% finished with gt3 and i have almost 1.5million and 6-7 nice cars, 3 of which i bought, others prize cars... All my cars are modded to the max (well except maybe for the trueno and miata...). Yep... Its a great game, i think its fine haha
 
Yeah, I have about 6 mil, so I don't worry about cash anymore... in fact, I'll often buy a car from the Dealer, race it in the Run & Settings to see if it's any good, and if I don't like it, I'll just sell it instead of restarting the game... I'm too impatient to go through the whole process of restarting. :D
 
Ive given up on GT3 for a little while its gotten a bit old. So ive gone back to my Japanese version of GT2, I forgotten how good GT2 is. Ive even got used to the graphics, I advise all you people who have never played GT2 to go and buy it. I already have me a 93 racing supra and a sweet racing Civic, oh and a black 67 corvette 😈 . Ill come back to GT3 when Ive settled some old scores. 😈
