I finally took the plunge after much debating. At first I told my wife I was going to build a cockpit and she said it better look nice so I instead recommended to get the playseat and she said yes. I was a bit shocked

It's a bit expensive but I think it will be well worth it. Plus it will look great with the dfgt on there. This is the one I got.

Looks great mate, very jealous!! I took the plunge by ordering a fanatec gt3rs this week, my fiancee was surprisingly cool about that considering I only just got a dfgt! Would love a playseat to go with it but I'll make do with my wheel stand, don't want to suggest that one to her yet lol!
 
My wife was pretty cool about it as well. I had just bought a DFGT and I told her that I would really like to have the PWTS but it was pretty expensive. She told me to go ahead and order it on her dime as an early Christmas gift :)
 
There seems to be a lot of understanding wives/girlfriends partnered to us Gran Turismo geeks ... We must be treating them right when we're not behind the wheel ;)
