Tooth blue, or not tooth blue. That is the problem.

Well, just got my new Compaq Presario V4000 laptop *WHOOOOOOOOT!!*, and i've seen from various sources, that models in that range have bluetooth. Now, i'm pretty sure that i have one of the top end models, with the brightview screen, media card reader, 100gb hard drive ect, so i thought that it might have bluetooth. Now this having bluetooth wouldplay a major part in my descision on buying a new phone. I'm pretty sure it has bluetooth, infact it even has the bluetooth logo behind the battery of all places. I've searched and searched to see how to turn it on, or wether it is on the particular model i have. I have the: Compaq Presario V4075EA.

This should answer your question. It is said to be optional... could you give me some more detailed information about it?

EDIT: For your particular model, I think not. Seeing as it has those stickers, they don't want to have specifics. Less work needing to be done, the cheaper they can sell it. So they just label all thew batts this way.

I may be wrong.... but if someone else has the patience to search, they're your man. Or woman. :P
 
Ok, thanks! Btw, it was wrtten on the actual laptop, behind where the battery fits in, not on the actual battery. I think it does have it somewhere, but i have no idea how to find it. I think this because it has all of the top specs, so i presume it has the bluetooth. Anyways, i'm just about to turn it off for the night, so i'll take the battery out and have a proper look. Will report back tomorrow.

EDIT* Just took some pics of behind the battery.




It only shows the bluetooth logo, but i hope it helps.
