Ok guys wat I want you to do is go round the TG test track with any car of your choise!!!

Then I want you to go round the track at race pace (as if your was doing a timed lap)

BUT!!!!! go round the route I have attached bellow.

After you have done some good laps exit the time trail and watch the replay.

Then wait till your car goes past the tire wall. For a split second you get the shot from the TV show. 👍

That map is annoyingly wrong. It only resembles the TGTT. Sorry.
??? It's supposed to represent the track. What he means though is that, at the cross over by the tyres, turn left instead of right the first time you go through, in case you're confused.

Yes Its just ment to show you the route to travel. :sly:

Except you would have to brake for the right hander and ruin the photo which is supposed to be a high speed shot of you turning left onto the runway. Why not just drive it normal and after you turn left, just slow down, turn around, and take hammer head to the follow-through again for the another take at the photo?

Right hander ?
The route he posted, there are only left turns lol
If you mean the turn at the tires , they brake slightly before turning there in reality.
To OP yea I seen that camera angle alot .
Its just a quick shot tho.

Thats crazy they show the angle in this way and not the original layout? This should be a easy fix for them to do.

He posted the wrong route to get the shot he is talking about.

This one, isn't it? :)

This.

awesome, i might give that a shot.

but heard from a Forza fan that Forza 4 has TV show camera on their Top Gear Track, it's like watching Top Gear.

Guess PD run out of money paying BBC Top Gear. So Top Gear turns to Forza which pay them much more.

Why would they have to pay more for certain camera angles? You can't copyright a camera angle.

It's obvious Microsoft is paying a lot of money for Top Gear content though, that's most likely also the reason why there is no Top Gear content on GTTV (anymore, since there was in Prologue).

Doesn't matter regarding camera angles though indeed.

We've got BBC iPlayer (in UK dont know about Worldwide) so I don't think we really need it in GTTV.

Infact I've never used GTTV.

You can (kinda) get most of the TG track shots with photomode, since you're controlling the camera, and not the game:dunce:

Exactly! This isn't my best but it was at full race pace, with dust from the corner cut. I was trying to get the shot from on top of the tyres, like in the show. The problems come with the automatic panning of the camera, which gives motion blur on the tyre wall.

Unlike Forza, the camera angles in GT5 replay changes after each lap although they do repeat, depending on the track, after the fifth lap (the only exception being Nordschleife where the camera angle repeats after each lap).

When it comes to TGTT, with the exception of Bentley (where the behind the tires shot occurs), the are similar camera angles at Wilson, Chicago, Hammerhead and Follow-through although these occur on different laps, The only missing are Gambon and Bacharach and, of course, Bentley.

Try running a five lap TT and then watch the replay. And as to Forza 4- looking at this replay I can't help but think that it still has all the shortfall of Forza 3: the cars still glide over the pavement with the tires still not grabbing the pavement while cornering, seem almost weightless and suspension that just don't seem to be moving. If the guys at Turn 10 been smarter they would use their own camera angles that would these shortcomings inconspicuous:
