Something I thought might be fun for a few weeks. There will be some potato-quality images.

Use whatever criteria you want:

Which is your favourite
Which you think is objectively the best
Which was the most imaginative
Which captured the spirit of the challenge

Original Challenge Winner: James' Jaguar XJS
James conceded that Jeremy had the better car

Jeremy's Mitsubishi Starion
Cost: £1,000
Expenses: £500 on the paint job and a turbocharger from Pentti Airikkala's Group A rally car

By the end of the challenge after the engine rebuild, it's the first time that all three of the presenters' cars were good.
It's hard to choose.

Gotta be the Jag though. It did win the challenges (fastest, most comfortable, most enduring) for a reason and with 350 quid's work it would be a great car. You cannot fail to love an XJS.

The Starion was the most reliable and would have done the best in the race if Clarkson wasn't such a moron with the mods.

Plus I liked the overboost switch it had for the speed bowl test.

I always think of the 635 when I look back on this one. If Hammond hadn't turned it into a mock M Sport mess it would have my vote.

Another80sCoupe.jpg was actually the most interesting pick. A rare but identical Porsche alternative and the smartest choice until the turbo was added, but it's the only one I wouldn't have over any of the Porsches in the previous challenge.

That XJS was a star though. Soldiered on when the others fell and the modifications actually improved things beyond external appearance. Even if it hadn't trumped the other two I'd be hard pressed to decide between it and the BMW.

Gonna have to favour the Jag this time.

Live the 635, but my dad had a Galant (saloon version of the starion) back in the late 80's and it was an awesome car... so Starion for me.
