top gear track available in gt mode practice?

Hello friends ,

Can anyone confirm whether the infamous Top Gear Test Track will be available also in GT Mode and not just in Arcade after completing the first Top Gear challenge with the VW buses?
If its NOT available that would be lame as hell as it was supposed to be like this huge part of GT and now I come to find out none of the races are on the track and the track itself is not even available except in arcade but wtf would i do in arcade if i have a thing called Practice right there in GT Mode.
I havent done any of the Special Events cause i have a special hate for them (did them all and then save file went poof...) ESP. the top gear ones, so i just want to know, is there even any point to suffering through them again if for reward i get top gear test track in Arcade.

Yes.

Well, there aren't any races held there but; it is available in practice mode after you do the special event.
You can also go there in online rooms.

Confusing GT5 with Forza are we? I don't remember any massive marketing being centred around Top Gear, leave alone making it out to be a 'huge part' of the game. That was Forza's gig.
