Top Speed Increase

Hey guys....quick question. Is there anyway through maybe gearing to increase your top speed beyond what the "top speed" slider states. For example..on a Italia the top speed slider is 249. But when drafting the car's top speed will go up to about 255. Is there anyway to increase the top speed for drafting beyond 249? Thanks for any help!
 
Top speed slider.. it mostly indicative and... aproximate... real top speed depends on gear setting independent to the slider.. and.. of course drafting... and... gravity... going downhill for example....

After setting the speed with the slider you can either lengthen the top gear (smaller number) to keep the acceleration the same with all other gears but allows you a higher top speed. Or you can adjust the final gear which will lower overall acceleration but allow a higher top speed.
