The people over at webquad just won't shut up about top speeds.

Some kid just keeps claiming his 360 modena can go 270+, and he refuses to provide proof. I've also heard people claim that they have achieved over 260 in their enzos, and I personally max out at 253, and so does every other person I know of.

Of course the people that produce these outrageous claims refuse to provide any setups. Everybody at that site has a tight ass and doesn't want anybody to know all their precious 'secrets.'

I've been reading this site for a while and you people seem much more willing to help than they are. (ex; wheelie topic) I was just wondering if anybody here has actually achieved these speeds, or if this guy over at webquad is just an ignorant douche.

Here's a link to the topic: WebQuad Top Speed Topic

Where can you test out top speeds, is there a specific area or are people just using the front straight on the Nurburgring?

what a bunch of jackasses... well if they win a race with that setup and you know thier gamertag you can always download it from the scoreboard :D

they are probably just running the analyzer in the garage and thats what its telling them if they cant show any proof.

the analyzer thingy for the z06 {877 hp} shows top speed of 224 mph
on the test track with aids on and auto i have netted a 232

they are not always correct, my thinking on this is usuall add 5 mph to the top end for down hill sections and things, and comming off a banked oval at a certain degree will net more speed.

it is possible. all you have to do is draft with another person.

He said without drafting. Even so, it would still take a long time to get up to that speed, and to maintain stability around the turns, drifting or not.

I think the Enzo could get up to 270mph with drafting or maby even close to 300mph.
I just dont know anyone near me who can drive well enough:(

I do remember hearing a report of 2 guys that got up to 306 on a 4 lap race around the oval. Team 300 plus or something like that.

You would definately need a wheel for that.
