A list of who comes here the most, in hits per day or something.
It could be done by IP... Only problem I could see of it is for people with Dynamic IP's, for instance AOL users, always have 172. as first 3 IP numbers and the rest change everytime they sign off...


Just a simple idea. (Could just use a counter so we can see the main list, but thats only IPs, and no names..)
 
Dude, that's a lot of worthless information, in my opinion. We would be better served to check visitor load by time of day. That's information we could use.

Or even better, how about track what time of day each user is on. That way we know how to catch someone online. Then you could take the information and sort it daily and/or weekly. Rock! That would be mucho helpful for those of us in differing time zones.

I'd prefer not to know how many times I pop in to look at the boards during the day. Example:
- put on hold whilst on the phone - check the boards
- finish task and take little break - check the boards
- talking to boss (who sits in front of me and can't see monitor - check the boards)
....and so on...

It would be interesting, but it's not tracked by vBulletin so there's really no way to display it.
 
You mean there isn't a log of when people are online? Surely there is a way to do that, then dump it to a database and query it with perl like everything else.

You could just have the data from the server log for forums.gtplanet.net colate into a graphical representation, and record the # of "hits" the user gets on the website...

It however would require custom coding...
 
Of course that would only give you IP's then you would need to have the username associated with an IP
