Teams & Team Championship
Teams can be formed if you wish, they may only consist of 2 drivers & team points will be worked out on the combined individual points from the teams solo drivers.
Board Championship
As well as the drivers & teams championship I will also be doing a boards championship. These results will be worked out using an average time of all drivers from their home board/forum.
Settings
Game & car settings will be posted for each race in the race threads
Other Rules
NO CHEATING
- All races must be 100% wall free. (Dont touch any walls)
- 2 wheels must be on the track at ALL times (Ripple/Rumble strips are part of the track).
- No contact with other cars is allowed. (No, not even a little, no rubbing, no kissing, no brushing up against)
There is no exceptions to the above 3 rules, any breach of the rules, intentional or not and your time will be pushed to the bottom of the points table and additional penalties may be applied, depending on the situation. The judges decision is final.
Only sector 2 times are to be discussed during a race.
SUBMITTING TIMES
All times must be submitted via the list posted in the race thread. This time submission form will be locked out after the race deadline and no more times can be submitted. So dont leave it till the last minute, or you could miss out. To avoid a DNF you can submit multiple times & re-submit another time if you get an improvement.
Information you will need for submitting a time is
Drivers Name
Home board/forum
Lap 1 Time
Lap 2 Time
Race Time
REPLAYS
Replays are not mandatory, but you might be called on to provide your replay for proof of your run. If you dont provide the requested replay within the required time frame you will be DISQUALIFIED, no exceptions.
Multiple people will view all questionable replays.
PENALTIES may be issued for the following reasons.....
3 wheels off the road
A wall touch
When an entrant has clearly broken any rules
When an entrant deliberately takes a race line that breaks any TORC rules
When an entrant has cheated in any way
When an entrant has tried to deceiving people with their times
FINAL THOUGHT
TORC contains facilities for a penalty system for "minor" incidents in a race. This doesn't mean that you are allowed to abuse this fact. You are still required to run a wall free, AI free & 2 wheels on the track race. If you have to watch your replay more than a few times to try & decide if it is illegal or not, I suggest that you run the race again. We are all responsible gamers/drivers & should be reading the rules & posts thoroughly. Also we are all able to double-check our times before submitting them. Remember, keep all of your replays until the season is over. This will help avoid any problems with time verification. And most of all, enjoy yourself!
If you have any questions or concerns, please email me at tosk@torctalk.org or go to the official home of TORC
