Whoa intense, I've seen a few twisters start in the dust but never like that.

Woah. That was nuts. I thought it was a little dirt devil, but, man, that's like a fullblown twister.

Poor kids.

nice, i hope that doesnt happen at my games next season!

Awesome .

I honestly don't think I would be as scared as I would be amazed. I would be the idiot you see running into it to see how high I could go .

[nerd]

Hot air rises, cold air falls. When mixed, the two cause rotation. A tornado can happen any time or any place, it just needs a plentiful supply of hot air and cold air to create a rotating motion, which then causes the funnel to be formed, thus making a tornado.

*looks around* I see Famine coming!

I think it was a cold day and the goalie farted.

...Flatus is still hot air.

Nothing compares to what I've seen once on National Geography.

It was about thunderstorms and lightning, the video was also taken during a football match. Suddenly, the lightning hit the ground so hard, all the players fell unconcious on the ground. The freaky part about it is that the lightning didn't even hit the ground near the football game :scared:

Can someone smarter than me please explain how that was possible?!

Take a trip to Tornady Alley, the area from Texas to Nebraska.

In this area, hot, dry desert air from the Southwest gets mixed by the Cold humidity air from the Wave of Mexico. When these meet eatch other, make some space 'cus in this area comes up to 4,000 tornado's a year!

I had a dream once where there was a tornado in my bedroom.

It didn't pan out though.

It was a sand storm. I doubt wind gusts blew above 20mph. Some twister.

Thats pretty trippy. I think I even saw Dorothy and Toto in there.

On a side note, oh man this is good acid! 💡 :odd: :scared:

Wow, that thing was amazing. I've seen a couple of dust devils in my time, but nothing like that. Incredible.

That sure didn't look like a 20 MPH windstorm to me.

And sandstorms don't create funnels like that. They are just a big ass wall of wind.

Albeit weak, it still looked like a feakin' twister. Dust Devils rock.

It's not a sand storm, it's a landspout.

wikipedia.org
A landspout is an unofficial term for a tornado not associated with a mesocyclone. Known officially as a dust-tube tornado, it is usually weak, features a small condensation funnel which often does not appear to reach the ground, and is often marked by a tall tube of dust and/or debris reaching as far up as the parent cloud. Though usually weaker than ordinary tornadoes, they are tornadoes, and can cause serious damage[3][6]
