Toronto Area GTP'ers and Photographers!

There seem to be plenty of GTPers in the Toronto area. Many of you guys are even into photography.

I say we do a photography meetup where we try to hunt down and take pictures of cars in the downtown core. I hear Yorkville is a great place for supercar-spotting at night.

Some bicycles, some cameras and gear, and we'll be good to go!

I'd suggest we do this on August 29 or 30, depending on the number of people that want in *cough*Tait*cough*exigeracer*cough*

The 29th would be exceptionally cool since we can ride with Critical Mass and be a pain in the ass to Toronto area drivers.

If we do a bike run, I have two bikes. All you need is the cojones to carry your SLR in downtown Toronto while riding a bicycle :)

I'm totally up for getting slammed at any random place downtown. I've got a bike and I'm willing to fly around anywhere with an SLR. Either date is okay unless I'm opening the store the next day, in which case it'll have to be a no-boozecohol night for me.

Yorkville is tops for supercars, sunny weekend afternoons seem to be the best. Little Italy is also pretty good at nights. Anyways, let's take it to PM with phone numbers and whatnot.
 
Random Tuesday night in Yorkville was pretty full of cars at around 10 just now. I stopped counting F430s because they were going by like taxis. Aston Martins of all sorts, R8, Corvettes, Porsches. The usual Yorkville crowd. Tripod is a must if we go up there at night though. Check my car photo thing for the shots I got.
 
It sounds like we may be better off dropping the bikes. Lets try to agree on a date for this. 29th or 30th? If we plan on hitting a bar/club/lounge around Yorkville, we will need to be presentable as well. Know any places we can go? My knowledge of the night life around this city extends to the pubs and bars around college/queen.
 
Presentable? Ah oh. I'm down for whatever, as long as it's fairly cheap. I do enjoy the idea of getting slammed.
 
Yeah I'm not crazy about the Yorkville area for anything but cars. There're some fun drinking places all over town, we can find something way cheaper and less uptight no doubt.
