I have been working and adjusting in detail the large scale focus/blur settings available. Some are trial :)

Just tried out the new photo mode..post patch 3.0

So main differences you can flick through the cars one at a time in replay via photo mode and when you pause the game which makes a big difference as you can pretty much catch any shot from the replay now of any car.

I also tried out the new lighter rain after the patch and now (not so white) looks great when driving and also takes a much better picture of the wet cars- well done sms great improvements..still need a few extras which would help..

damage on/off
sliders of blur/focus to move much quicker !! :indiff:

With what limited time I have had on patch 3.0, I agree that things are much improved 👍
Regarding changing car during repaly I discovered that once changed, you cannot revert back to any of the three cockpit type cam's when you revert to your own car. So if you're after some on board shots best to take them first.
I had hoped we could apply all filters and effects from photomode into replay mode.....in particular the filters would be a good addition to cockpit/helmet cam, so I would add that to your wishlist as I would the request for free cam and the ability to tilt the camera 👍

Having said that, I should point out that the replay's I am currently using are from before the patch. So maybe.......

Having had a little bit more time on it, you are right it does lose the cockpit/interior views but by flicking through the camera modes and back to the car it did come back but a bit of messing around.

I agree filters on interior 👍

The 'Free' camera is there now from barrier to barrier, I panned the camera right across the track to the other side of the track around all cars and grass. I agree a tilt function would be handy.

The distort lines from the previous pic on top of photos taken are still there and annoying to crop off all the time.

The Menu with the filter/focus/sliders on gets in the way and I can't see the left of the picture!! If there is a way to get it out the way before you take a shot this would help!..So quite a few things to change for the better...:cheers:

A mix up of filters and cars I was driving, some the same shot to show how different the pictures look with two different colours on them. The crashed Renault was the AI not me now you can rotate the camera to the next car!.. It was night time, heavy fog and heavy rain!..I couldn't really see where I was going!

Having trouble getting rid of the glow around the car when you want blurred out background/sharp focus near the car as if you take the distance too far back it sharpens the wrong section. W.I.P.!! Still like the new mustang and BMW.

Too many wonderful shots in here. :bowdown: :)

To add to your photomode wish list;

Autofocus button.
Free camera - in the sense you can pan the camera to position the subject within the frame (instead of always being centered).
Camera height adjustment (independant of the direction).

I agree with the camera options..maybe in a future patch? when they have sorted out the list they are working on with the game..I think the photomode is low priority at the moment.:irked:

A mix of .png & .jpeg haven't worked out yet how to save direct from photomode in .png - Screen shot direct is set up in settings but is there a setting in Pcars for photos for .png?:boggled:

I didnt realise the .png didn't apply to photomode. All set and ready to go here but still have a few jpegs to wade through. Just not enough hours in the day mate :cheers:

Been away from photo mode on here for a while-The sliders (too slow) and the large grey options box in the way of the photo!!! really need a fix soon ;))
