Tournaments online?

Hi

Might be a stupid question but whats the deal with the tournaments?

I have seen that you have a qualifying lap time to set in order to even get into one of them. Do the groups race together at the same time? If not how do you get through to the next stage? Is it the most laps done or most distance travelled?

The top qualifying times (usually 192, can be 768) are then split into 3 brackets - Gold, Silver and Bronze in order of their times. They are then split further so there are 8 in each race, with 1-4 fastest in the same room as 61-64 fastest, then 5-9 with 57-60 and so on....

The top four from each race then move onto the next round (a different track usually around the same time the next day) until it gets to the final of the Gold, Silver or Bronze brackets.
 
So who hosts the room? How do you know what room you need to go to?

Do all 8 cars race on track at the same time?

I don't get all the other tournament stuff which is on the forza forums, whats with the prize money of millions of credits? How does that come about?

Sorry if I'm being a :dunce: but I really seem to be struggling with this for some reason!

Also I have seen some race times at like 2,3,4AM etc..... - Who's going to be up at that time !!
