Note:I know both cars are the same, but this comparison just shows if there's much difference between the two cars handling and speed.

I compared both cars by fully tuning them and driving them at
the Top Gear Test Track

Peformance
Toyota 86 '12 375BHP/7900rpm-1116kg PP:502
Scion FR-S '12 375BHP/7900rpm-1141kg PP:509
*Both cars will have a max HP of 376 after a race.*

Driving Settings
*Both cars used the same*
Transmission:Automatic{AT}
Tires:Racing Medium
Traction Control:3
Skid Recovery Force: Off
ASM: Off
Active Steering: Off
ABS:1
*Also i did not use a wheel*

Lap Times:
86 GT '12: 1:17:662
FR-S '12: 1:17:802

Overall, when i drove voth cars, the handling for the FR-S was alot more
stiff and more easy to drive but the 86 GT drifted alot causing it to have an advantage at the time. But overall i'd say the FR-S is the better car to use.
Im not saying the 86 GT sucks but it has more of a drifting feel when you drive it.
Feel free to tell me your comparison or your opinion.

Drifting wouldn't necessarily help the 86GT with the lap times.Especially on the TGTT, this course has a lot of slow in fast out corners, any time spent drifting is lost time in my opinion.

I have noticed that the FR-S is slightly more "sluggish", than the 86 GT. So PD did do some minor tweaking to the cars handling.

Yeah the 86 GT has alot more "drift" to it.The FR-S is has stiff handling
making it slightly better than the 86.

Uhh Im pretty certain both the Scion FR-S and the 86 both weigh 1092kg...

Thats with stage 3 weight reduction. Both cars weigh 1092 after that mod is performed.

However, straight from the dealer, the FR-S is heavier

I rather have a drifty car than a understeering car that drives straight into a tree.

I will try this test myself since I have a wheel and tell you how I get on.
