We've got one of these threads for Nissan, so I thought I'd make one for Toyota/Lexus as well.

Here are the simple guidelines:
1. Thumbnails only please
2. Drifting photos only
3. Toyota/Lexus, tuner "original models," or race models OK.

Don't let me be the only one, post up your sideways Toyotas, no matter the year or style!

To get things started here's a big pile of pics of the Trueno, Celica, Levin and Tom's Chaser:

Here are some straight-six cars (excluding the Altezza touring car, which isn't nearly as easy to drift).

Supra 2.5 turbo R, Altezza Touring car, IS 200(J), GS 300 '91, SC 300, GS 300 Vertex Edition '00(J):

IMO, the first-gen MR2 is one of the best-looking Japanese cars from the 80s--especially when they're slammed and going sideways.

These things are surprisingly good drift cars despite the short wheelbase. The supercharged version has more torque, though, so it's easier to drive sideways.

MR2 1600 and MR2 1600 LM SC:

Thanks, SVX. I definitely have room for improvement, but I've been doing a lot of gt4 drift practice of the past few months.

@niky: yeah, the Tom's Chaser is four doors of sideways beastliness for sure. I love how big Toyota sedans look. If you want to check out some badass real-world drifting Chasers, take a look at this article on Speedhunters.

Here's another vintage/rare Toyota, the '70 Celica 1600 GT:

Toyotas + sideways = all good!

I'm loving the white 2000GT. That thing must be a handful in the snow/ice.

LOL @ Prius drift! I haven't driven that car yet, or tried drifting any FF cars. How is it? Do you set it up for lift-throttle oversteer?

just spam E-brake:crazy:

Thanks, SVX. It's got about 112 hp right now, which is way better than stock, but even after tuning the suspension it's not an easy car to drift. It feels like the steering rack is really slow or something. Wish there was a way to upgrade that!

^ Nice! Is that Autumn Ring? I have been pretty frustrated trying to drift that course for some reason, especially with powerful cars like the Supra--good work.
