Cylinder Head SUB-ASSY and Cylinder Block SUB-assy reprinted from GR Heritage Parts Project
TOYOTA GAZOO Racing will reissue 2 4A-GE engine parts of Corolla Levin Sprinter Treno (AE86)*1 as a "GR Heritage Parts Project".

・Cylinder head SUB-ASSY for 4A-GE engine, and cylinder block SUB-assy will be reissued.
・On September 13th (Sat) and 14th (Sun) at Fuji Speedway will be exhibited at the "Initial D 30th Anniversary 2 days" and advance reservations are now open.

GR Heritage Parts Project is an initiative to reprint already discontinued supply parts and resell them as genuine parts to meet the customer's desire to "continue to ride their beloved cars full of memories". Currently reprinting and re-sale of all 8 models and over 200 parts.
The two parts that have been decided to reproduce now are the cylinder head SUB-ASSY and the cylinder block SUB-assy.
These two GR Heritage parts are modernized by incorporating the latest simulation technology, engineering and materials, keeping the basic design and specification of the time intact, so that you can continue to ride your "favorite car" in better condition for a long time.

■ CYLINDER HEAD SUB-ASSY
By adding a cutting process to the combustion chamber, reducing the area of the area that left the skin intact, we reduced the differences between each engine that resulted from the varying compression ratio. The intake port has been given a paint treatment to reduce surface friction in raw conditions. We improved the workability of installation by adding the cam cap knock pins to all areas, which were used only in some areas in the original parts.
■ Cylinder Block SUB-ASSY
Modern honing treatment applied to the cylinder bore, improving the machining accuracy of the bore. Compared to the time, we used a higher fragility material, and we made changes to the structure of the crank cap based on simulation to improve its durability.
■Reflecting the voice of customers
Based on the request of customers who heard at various event venues, the cylinder head SUB-ASSY is increasing the meatiness of part of the suction exhaust port. Cylinder Block SUB-ASSY added boss and ribs for layout installation so that it can not only fit the AE86 but also FF cars.
On September 13th (Sat) and 14th (Sun) at Fuji Speedway (Shizuoka Prefecture), at the ”Initial D 30th Anniversary 2days ( https://fujimotorsportsforest.jp/static/initial-d-30th/ )”, we will display the GR Heritage parts planned for sale and the AE86 restored using the 4A-GE engine attached to these parts. The GR Heritage Parts booth in the venue will also be accepting pre-orders for the 2 GR Heritage parts that will be released. Please check the booth on the same day for details on parts and schedule after reservation.
