Toyota GT1 or Nissan R390 LM Race

Well, i recently made a new thread "Team Oreca Viper or Corvette C5R", so i decided to make a new one :D

Well, in my opinion the Nissan R390 is better. Actually, the toyota gt1 is beter at almost everything, but i just like the R390 better.

What do you think???????
 
As nearly as I can tell, the GT-One has slightly better handling, and can get through the turns quicker, but the R390 has better excelleration and a higher top end speed. I guess it's a matter of opinion then, and what kind of race you're running.

I like the looks of the R390 better, but the GT-One does have a special look of its own (:

I think the GT-One has a better 'real world' record than then R390, though.

I like the R390 better.
I kinda think the opposite of Loud.
GT-One = better acceleration.
R390 = better handling & top speed(we agree)
 
i personaly prefer the GT1 over the R390 because in my opinion it has better grip levels through the bends and i think its slightly quicker at accelerating. but really there is very little in it and it becomes a matter of personal choice.
 
I think the GT-one is the better of the two. It's lighter, and the race version looks monsterous!

I thougt the GT-One was lighter! It certainly looks lighter... well, let's call it more aerodynamic then!
 
I think the R390 can be driven a little bit more agressive, the GT-One is more the kind of car where you'd stick to a racing line.
 
I personally like the looks of the Nissan R390 Race Car. The Toyota has that semi-weird look to me. It's still a great car, but Nissan is my choice. Both handle well for me... :burnout:
 
i'm surpise some of u think the gt1 looks good...i think the r390 kicks ass. I love the front of it, but the back could be redone.

The gt1 is alot more areodynamic...but i dont really like the looks.

It's up to the way you drive. The GT-one is less forgiving but very skittish. The R390 needs to be thrown around a bit, to bit handled more aggressively - but one-on-one is slightly slower.

I prefer the R390, it's more my style. I'll always run faster in it. :)

Anyone for a 787B....? ;) :p
 
I really was looking forward to get the 787b after i had got both my gt1 and r390, but when i got it...i was Dissapointed. I really dont like it much. I doesnt really handle very well, and both the r390 and gt1 (in my garage) are faster.

The only thing i like btter about the 787b is tire manage ment. You can but mediums on it and it lasts a good 8 laps..but on harder and u can do a 10..with the hardest ones..you could probably do 15-20 laps.
 
That surprises me. I thought the R390 was the be-all-and-end-all (ever since GT2) but when I got my 787B (at 75% - pretty late I suppose) I was taken by it. I easily run faster with it. In fact, it's my fastest circuit car. Personal preference again. ;)

I guess everyone knows what I think of F1's and the Escudo...

... THEY DON'T COUNT!!! :mad:
 
yea..f1's r stupid...they shouldnt be allowed in any races except the last one. The last one is fun
 
I would say 787B is better. I had a 787B in my garage before I ever got a GT-One or an R390 Race Car.

They are all top of the list Race Cars on GT3, so any of them are good for me :burnout:
