Is the Toyota GT1 (ts0200) Road Car better than the Toyota GT1 Race Car???
I have the road car now and in stars and stripes (pro) I race against a race car version, and I won! I know it has more hp but... I don't have it... I just don't know which is better.:dopey:
Has somebody those 2 cars and knows which is better?
In case, Thanks.

BTW, it is a very nice cup!!!:D I am now preparing for the sixth race and I have 46 points, followed by the nissan R390, and then by the TOYOTA RACE CAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, and then by the Mazda 787B, the panoz and the subaru race car...
It's nice because the AI cars almost drive like human!!!
They spin out sometimes, and they haven't got a fixed patron for pitting!!! It's just great, I like the distance of laps (15 laps a race) And they are a match for each other car and for me!:D Just COOL!!! The only stupic thing was I ended on midfield second, 0.100 of a second behind the Nissan!!!:banghead:

I haven't found such a topic like this while searching...

Although I've never owned both versions of the GT1 at the same time, I have had both of them. In my opinion there's no real difference between the two. The race version may have more power stock, but you can whack a turbo kit on the road one. They're both very fast with great handling.

And you've gotta love that turbo dump valve!

i have them both and to be honest, there very similar in power and speed.....the race car handles a little better imo, but there virtually the same car...

Say if i am wrong or not, but isnt the race car just a fully tuned version of the standard road car?

i like the race car better...i think it just feels a little better

race car for me, you can adjust the front DF for starters

You couldn't have run the Toyota in the "Stars and stripes."
Stars and Stripes is for American Cars only.
Personally, I like both cars, I haven't driven either of them enough to declare a preference.
Now you've given me a reason to pull out another undriven car for testing.

I thought this as well, but I've entered all maner of vehicles in the Stars and Stripes. Your competition is American only, on what are asumed to be American courses, but you can enter any vehicle you like. I think I've run it with F1s before as well.

well u can F1s on most tracks with nationality regulations

You can do the stars and stripes championchip with Japanese cars, in pro and amateur...
Did you only enter it with american or F1 cars?:odd:
Which american car can compare to those "JAPANESE AI CARS"??? :odd:
There aren't much THAT good American cars...

I won the championchip today!!!!:p It feels great! Only with seattle II and Midfield II I was second!!!:D

I mean lemans AI cars, Japanese...

Dou you mean the Professional GT All stars, or GT World, cos the All stars is 3 single races and you only ever race against American cars.

See my first post in this topic..

Back when thoes cars were racing it was Germany that dominated the races with the Merc CLK-GTR's. Also the new Bentley beats their lap times around LeMans, I don't think there were many American GT1 classcars, only the Panoz GTR-1, which isn't that good but you can't compare them to the GT2 or GTS classes that raced then and now, there is loads of different regulations seperating the classes.

Pro GT All Stars: Series, 10 races; 15 laps each; Laguna Seca, Deep Forest, Midfield Reverse, Test Course, Apricot Hill, Rome, Seattle Reverse, SSR11 Reverse, Grand Valley Reverse, Tokyo R246.

Pro GT World: Series, 10 races; 10 laps each; Grand Valley, Apricot Hill Reverse, SSR5 Reverse, Trial Mountain, Deep Forest, Test Course, SSR11 Reverse, Tokyo R246, Cote d'Azur (15 laps), Grand Valley Reverse.

There is no Professional Stars & Stripes (which is what I think you meant, perhaps), and Amateur Stars & Stripes is 4 Single races (3 laps each) at Seattle, Super Speedway, Laguna Seca and Seattle Reverse against American opposition only.

Oh yeah forgot it was 4 races.

And you can only enter in an American Car, or one that can be bought by the US Flag in "Dealers"
You can race the American Championship in Amatuer in any make/model car, against only 'Murrican cars.
Stars and Stipes is the same, but can only be entered with an 'Murr'can cars. I've been trying to win the Camaro LM for two days so I could run it.:irked:

I thought that the Camaro race car could only be won in the Amateur American Championship consisting of 5 races and you can enter any car.
