I agree it's a great car, but totally disagree it'll hold its own against any formula car. You may have a chance against the AI, but against a real person, you're getting smoked.

This is like the McLaren vs Furai argument, only more HP! the FGT/furai is better in corners while the 88cv/McLaren is way faster

I never do drag racing so forgive me for whats maybe a naive question.
In a standard drag race would the Toyota Minolta really keep up with the FGT?
I would expect it to have a higher top speed but not acceleration.

It would, I race the FGT in a league but im more corner orientated so I have no idea which would win.

Not. Top hp doesn't necessarily mean the fastest car. There are a good few that can beat it.

A nissan R92CP is faster in a straight line, but it lacks a miniscule amount around the track, kinda sucks

I think the Minolta can go around faster at a small track without much gaps of altitude, but lacks the steadiness in control. At a long track with high diversity of altitude like Nurburgring, newer LMP cars such as the Bentley speed 8 excel against them.
