I would really like to see the 2025 Toyota Prius Plug-in Hybrid 220 added to Gran Turismo 7.
At first, the Prius might not seem like an obvious choice for Gran Turismo. However, I think the fifth-generation Prius is exactly the kind of unexpected road car that could make the GT7 car list more interesting.
This is not the slow, boring Prius that many people remember. The latest Prius has completely changed its character.
The new Prius has one of the most distinctive designs in Toyota's current lineup. It looks much more like a sleek sports hatchback than the traditional Prius shape, and its low roofline, long wheelbase and aggressive front end make it surprisingly attractive.
It would also give players the opportunity to experience a modern plug-in hybrid powertrain in a completely different way from performance-focused PHEVs.
I think this is exactly what makes Gran Turismo special: the game can put an unusual everyday production car next to supercars, racing cars and high-performance sports cars and make all of them interesting to drive.
The Prius also has enormous historical importance. It was one of the cars that helped make hybrid technology mainstream, and the fifth generation represents a major evolution of that original idea.
That is what makes this particular Prius so interesting for GT7.
It isn't just an efficient car anymore. It is a modern, technologically advanced PHEV with enough performance to make it genuinely fun to drive.
I think it would be especially interesting to compare it in GT7 against other hybrid and electric road cars, rather than simply comparing it with conventional petrol cars.

And this Prius is actually fast
A 223 PS Prius reaching 100 km/h in around 6.8 seconds is something that would have sounded ridiculous a few generations ago.That is what makes this particular Prius so interesting for GT7.
