The car didn't fare so well the following year. After getting light in a cross wind, over the second hump on Conrod Straight during practice, the car crashed heavily and was a non-starter in the race.
This was the result:

A totally new shell was built with a new paint job for it's final season in 1987.

I remember seeing one at my local Toyota dealer & being amazed at the digital instruments.

So Star Wars it was like being transported into the future.
