Toyota released the first WiLL-Project-related car called WiLL Vi in 2000. A pumpkin carriage in Cinderella is the motif of its exterior design, which featured a cliff-cut rear window. This car was designed for women in their 20-30s, but it was said that its unique design caused a difficulty parking. Also, the window was not compatible with some automated washing machines, and sometime the machines damaged the body of this car. Therefore this car did not sell well (about 15,000 were sold) but the initial target was realized, as half of sold units were bought by women in her 20-30s, 80% of which first bought a Toyota car. In 2001, the production of this car was ended and the car was replaced with WiLL Cypha.
