Has anyone had any issues with TP link modems?
I have had 2 so far, both on the same model and the same fault no less.
I need VoIP for my internet connection and I do not like the white modems ISPs love to supply.
So I got the TP-Link VR200v and I have had it replaced once for no line sync as it was not even detecting anything, yet an old POS modem supplied by my previous ISP connected.
I got a credit on the old one and since the store I got it from did not have stock of the same modem, I got it from another supplier.
And again no line sync, not detecting anything, ****** POS modem connects.
So are TP link modems fragile when it comes to the VDSL chipset?
So I am now tossing up between going to the TP-Link VR500v or TP Link VR600v which are 2 other VoIP modems TP link provide hopefully which are not discontinued or I go with D-Links DVA-2800 Talkbox
Last thing I want is to get another TP-Link and have the modem chipset die.
