Welcome to the TPC racing subforum! We're glad to see you and hope we have something to offer. Here are a few bits of info about us and our races;

What is TPC?

TPC - The Pit Crew, is a loose organisation of like minded racers assembled mostly right here on GTPlanet. While a good majority of us come straight from Gran Turismo Sport, we are not confined to that game and have members and activities across sim racing. We are not an eSports team like many other three letter groups - more a community of friends and racers with the occasional decent driver we have hoodwinked into representing us.

What does TPC do?

Our first mission is to provide fun racing for all. The team was born from the GTPlanet daily race thread and the subsequent "Daily Races with Friends" events which have run on Fridays on GT Sport since at least 2018. From this has snowballed a range of provided events branching from one-offs, thru arrive-and-drive fun series, and into more serious sim racing territory with our more organised leagues. Whatever end of the TPC spectrum you race in, you can expect the priority to be a good time for all.

Can I race with you guys?

Almost without exception, the answer is yes; we do not ask for any particular level of skill or practice to enter our events. Generally our racing is subject to the standard rules of racing which are chiefly governed by sportsmanship and respect for one another. If you can follow that simple principle, there should be no reason why you cannot come along to a TPC event.

How do I race with you guys?

Generally speaking, all that's required to race in a TPC event is to sign up for the appropriate thread here on GTplanet. We do not ask that you join any discord server or fill out any Google forms. If you are interested in anything you see in our little subforum, please register your interest according to the instructions in that thread. We do not ask for any DR, race history or other skill based requirements.

What kind of things can I expect?

- Daily Races with Friends - Friday evenings
Each week's weekly race A, B and C run in a lobby, with a reverse grid running of each also, plus fun and unique bonus combos every week.

- Regular Full Length Series - Saturday evenings
Fully scheduled championship seasons (normally 8 events) featuring point scoring, using our improved BoPs or one make races.

- Casual Series and off the wall combos - As and when scheduled
Fun racing focused on jump-in-and-drive and low-stress one make races - some with light boost/slip settings to promote close and furious racing.

- The TPC NASKART Championship
Our signature event featuring boosted shifter karts on short tracks and ovals - quite possibly the closest, maddest racing in all of Gran Turismo.

Here in the TPC subforum is where we post threads for all other GTS events (and this will continue on to 7 in March!). You can generally expect that there will be one longer series running at any one time, sometimes 2.

We here at The Pit Crew are always grateful for new faces and new friends, so don't be a stranger! You're more than welcome to bring any questions you may still have.
