TUNER'S PIT RACING ASSOCIATION
The TPRA (Tuner's Pit Racing Association) is a prestigious online racing league that was established way back in April 2008. We were arguably the first organised racing league to promote and hold online racing on Gran Turismo 5: Prologue on the PS3 with just a handful of members.
Today, we have over 650 registered members from around the world and provide racing on Gran Turismo 6 on the PS3 and of course Project CARS on the PS4. We are proud to be able to post one of our Project CARS series here!

PARTICIPATION
If you want to participate in this event, please just mention your PSN ID in this thread. I will then send you a Friend Request. Alternatively, send calvins48 a Friend Request and we'll go from there.
FORMAT
-- Practice 1 will last 15 minutes.
-- Qualifying will last 15 minutes.
-- The race will be held over 22 laps. It should last around 30 minutes.
REGULATIONS
-- The race will begin under a Rolling Start.
-- Full flags and penalties.
-- Tyre wear will be set to off.
-- A pit stop will not be required for tyres.
-- Fuel usage will be on and set to Real.

RECOMMENDED FUEL
To avoid racers running out of fuel, it is recommended to start the race with around 80 litres. Some cars have better fuel economy than others, so it is wise to test the cars to see what car can start the race with as little fuel as possible. However, these more economic cars may be slower overall (in terms of out-and-out pace) than their less economic counterparts. Please make sure you start the race with enough fuel.
UPDATE 3.0 - FUEL
In the soon-to-be released Update 3.0, the above fuel concerns will be easier to manage. First - the game will display on-screen how many laps you can complete corresponding to the current fuel load you have chosen, saving you having to work it out in your head or on a calculator.
Second - players will no longer be disqualified for running out of fuel after finishing the race. Update 3.0 will be released in the coming weeks.
EVENT ENTRY PROCEDURE
-- The PS4 Party Chat will no longer be used.
-- Just before the event start time, drivers will be invited to the in-game Lobby.
-- If players wish to use voice communications, they will be able to use the in-game chat.
-- Once all players are in the Lobby and have signaled they're ready to start, the host will start the event and Practice 1 will commence.
