I've searched high and low online for something in English, I was wondering if anyone out there has found a map of Tsukuba with names for each corner and/or straight so that I can stop saying things like "the inside hairpin," "the esses after turn one," "the front/back straight," "the short straight before the last hairpin," and "the big turn" or "the parabolic?"

I guess we could just make our own up. I hereby name turn 5; "Dunlop", really original I know! ;)

And here are the numbers:

The map on the official site seems to have the track divided in ten sectors though.

And here is the "Unofficial English translation" of the Japanese names:

1. main straight
2. First corner (dull name isn't it)
3. "S" corner
4. First hairpin
5. Dunlop corner
6. Asia corner (2 Wheels course)
7. 80R corner (4 Wheels course)
8. Second hairpin
9. Back straight
10. Last corner (Yet another master display of fantasy)

Enjoy:)👍

Great! We've got some names :D
And it's even got the name on corner 5 that VBR gave it! They're fast!

So I wasn't terribly far off, thanks for that genuino. And so much for hoping nobody had a chance to quote my blonde moment for the record prior to my editing it.

:dunce:

Good thing you're not the only one who can edit stuff ;)
