i would fancy a track editor like the one in gt6, but with less limitations and the ability to design tracks in-game or on phones, as well as tablets. another change i would like to see for this variant of a track editor is to make sure it isnt just exclusively online only (ties in with the console track designer aswell), where instead of being uploaded to a server it could maybe be saved to your console, like with gt5's track generator. also, if it is possible for polyphony to cook them up before gt8, more templates/environments. one last idea before i let you all make suggestions/ideas, point-to-point tracks should be (or could be) possible, as it has been done before and can almost certainly be done again.
overall, i feel a track editor would be a pretty cool addition from any angle you look at it, and i understand it might take a while, but it could happen. also, thanks for reading to this part, it means the world to me.
