Just a quick one, is track temperature confirmed in GT5?

The reason I ask is because I was having a nightmare driving round the ring at 6am (in game time) just now. I had soft tires on, and my braking zones were just not working, and I was constantly over-running my corner entry points.

I changed the time to 12pm, and all my braking zones, and entry points were working again. So, I'm thinking that may be something to do with track temperature, or possibly some other effect on the car tires...? 👍

yes, i think you are right.

I drove my super gt lexus on the ring at night, and it was a nightmare.

The tyres (racing hards) felt like sport tyres!!

I had this on my Countach - couldn't take a corner on anything above a crawl without spinning. Turned out that either a multiplayer or a B-spec race with tyre restrictions had silently removed my racing tyres and put the defaults back on... :ouch:

Steve.

Softs on the ring, only last one lap really good..

You should've put hards on.. Try it!

I don't know how you drive, but I have managed to get two or three good laps out of the soft tires at the ring. From my experiences, any tire is good until the bar in the middle, is about halfway down, then there is a noticeable drop-off in tire performance. 👍
