i've been wondering if track temperature has a somewhat important relation to tire wear and stuff, i mean, i noticed that the normal temp at bathurst is 17° that drops 12° at 02.20 am is that meaningless or does that really matter?
ps: i know that irl it's VITAL to keep the tires warm, just wondered if this works ingame too and if it's any importance

In the game, tires are preheated at the start, so you don't have to worry about them cooling off. From what I've notice, lower temperatures make it so that tires cool down faster on long straights than they would when it's hot. You can try that by setting weather to 100%, setting the track surface to 0%, setting the weather changeability to fixed, and setting the time to 00:00. Then, compare that to your normal, default settings.
