Never as a matter OFFFFFFFFFFFFFFACT I tend to go lower than the AI cars. But than again you can user what ever you want. I just dont pit on test cousre so its very hard to looooooooooooooooooooooose there as you should know, heck I could be on a skate board and id still win.
Yet again, I have to agree with F1King on this one. The Test Track is too boring to do once you've done it the first time through a championship but the other tracks people have mentioned I can't believe they would skip. Not do Monaco (?!) ... go and stand in the corner of the classroom you bad people!! It's a great drive. So are SS11 and Grand Valley (in fact I use Grand Valley as my test circuit when I'm setting up cars).
Like has been said above, if you're finding a course too boring, go out in an outclassed car and try and win. That puts the challenge back in the game. I always run outgunned, as if you drive a car in the same league as the AI you're guaranteed to win by miles without having to work for it. Where's the fun in that?
eh, i agree with the last guy, why skip cote d'azur? unless you have a slow car, it should take you only about a minute each lap, and the turns at least never really get you bored. and test course...i agree it can b boring, but if it has the points i need so that i don't have to do Grand Valley speedway instead, then i'll do it. Only times i just skip it anyway is if my oil is startin to go bad and i need it for some other races, then i would skip test course. and oh yeah, if you're going to skip a race, then here's a tip that i found useful...in order to prevent the next leading scorer to get a full 10 pts for that race, i found it useful to start the race, get in front of him and break, or ram him into a corner and pin him down for a while. Every time i do this that person never gets 10 points for the track.
Can you recieve 100% of you complete all of the Series Races with golds, even if you skipped a race or two? Or do you have to go back and fill in those black slots to get 100% completion?
All im saying is after you get 100% and you do some championships again to get some other car, and you get to the test course come on 10 or 15 laps on that thing JEEEEEEEEEEEEEEZZZ! as far as any other course I never skipp. And I agree who in his/her right mind would skip MONACO thats the best race track on the planet.
Ugh... I never said Monaco was a bad track... In fact, it is one of, if not my favorite track. HOWEVER, I simply cannot input the time to do it, since it's a longer track than most races, and typically has more laps...
Although open to conjecture on the state of my mind, I've never been a fan of that circuit, ever since I first started playing decent F1 simulators (F1GP on the Amiga in the late 1980s!).
Too tight, too hard to pass, too easy to get punished for very minor errors. If you put in the middle of a field somewhere and tried to hold races there you'd get laughed at.
