Can anyone confirm that the one car per day trading limit is imposed at a 'console' level, or a IP address level?

That is... Can someone who owns two Playstations in a single household , behind a router that has a single IP address... confirm that you can, or can not make one trade per each of the consoles, or does Sony really restrict things to a single trade per IP address per day?

I remember it is limited on the ps3's mac-address, which is not changeable.

Mac address - Account combination.... you can't send from the same account on another PS3...

True, also on account...life was so much easier in the beginning...especially for people like me with only 1 ps3...

So then... Two different accounts, each on a different PS3, sitting behind the same router(IP address) can each trade once per day. At least if I'm understanding the jest of this discussion.

correct...

I never got my first PS3 till after the 'new' trade restrictions went in place. I'm thinking of getting a second PS3, and if I can trade once per day, per PS3 ( twice per day in total ) then there is a little more incentive to go try and get one of them there $199 Black Friday PS3 deals.

Not to mention I can B-spec grind remote racing all day and night on the second one... :) at least when my daughter's not using one while I want to drive in person.

You can't trade cars over 1,000,000cr the X1 is 20,000,000.

Thank you. It was a joke, referring to the days when everyone and their mother were offering up carbon x1's for anything.

Beside, this wasn't an offer for a trade, hence my rhetoric, since this was placed in the marketplace forum, where we trade.

One trade, per account, per console, regardless of IP address.

OP, my apologies for the sarcasm, questions and answers are best suited for our Q&A forum so as to not clutter up the marketplace.
