I wish I had one.

Today I spend a few hours on the Eindhoven Airport spending time playing GT, great fun while waiting for some people to arrive. But I couldn't help looking around all the time for fellow players. Someone I could trade with. No such luck. :grumpy:

Have you encountered someone yet to trade cars with?

Nope, the number of PSP owners in my proximity is low as it is, and I am the only one that owns GTPSP (so far anyway).

None of my mates even have a PSP let alone a copy of GT. No trading for me by the looks of things!

I have a PSP 1000 and a new Go, and I have the game installed on both systems. I gave trading and sharing a try, and to be honest it's a little clunky.

For sharing, one player has to choose "receive cars" and the other has to select "share cars". After both players confirm the transaction the two garages are synchronized. After the transfer, the "sharing" player has the option to receive cars from the receiving player as well. So, it doesn't really matter who chooses what option because you both get all the cars.

The weird part comes after you receive the cars - there is no easy way to view which ones you got. If you go to the recent activity listing in your profile you can see a list of what you received, but there's no particularly easy way to view them. Going to your car collection and choosing "last 100 acquired" doesn't display the cars you just acquired. The best way I've found is to go to the race setup screen and click on the car selection icon. Change the sort option to sort by manufacturer - this will show you only the manufacturers for which you own cars. From here, go into each manufacturer and you will be able to see your existing cars as well as any new ones, although they aren't flagged as new.

Hm. That's interesting. However, I use the "Dealership" Option in the Car Select screen, so I don't think it'll be a problem.

On topic, I'm going to be trading with a friend of mine soon once I get him to pick up the game.

Being a computer major most people around school are hooked on pc gaming. Most people dont even own consoles let alone portable ones (besides there laptops).

I traded/shared cars with Arwin, last friday. I got the R8 LM Audi. He got my obligitory Subaru's. We raced some adhoc races. I did not get 'his' yellow Enzo though :(

Can someone please explain 'sharing' to me. Do you give all of you cars to your friend and vice-versa? It seams a bit cheap getting so many cars for free.
