Recently my friend started his own GT3 career, and since he was pretty bad at the game I let him trade some cars with my 86% completed profile.
I've found that each car he bought off me came with all the upgrades I bought, pretty cool considering I forked out thousands of credits for upgrades, and he only has to spend a fraction of what I paid to get these supercars.
He bought my modded up 2001 Lancer Evo and breezed through the turbo championship and the GT championship, both in beginner league.
Trading with completed profiles makes the game so much easier.
I don't think this trick works in GT4 though.

I got partway through GT3 - maybe 30% - and decided to start over from the beginning. I used that trick to get back a lot of my cars and saved a ton of money on upgrades.

Welcome to GTplanet, amicus83. Yes, that's an odd feature in GT3....you don't have to pay wholesale, instead you're only paying cost.

Thanks for welcoming me. Yeah true, all the upgrades are included, but the cars go for the normal second-hand fee. It's a cool feature cause that Lancer was completely maxed out with 594BHP and only cost around 29'000 credits. Awesome buy. 👍

I think that's another cool thing about GT2...It's possible to buy a Demio for well over $100,000 when you factor in the parts. In fact, when I go look at the TRADE page in GT2, it's dizzying how much money all the cars I bought & souped up go for, know what I mean? An ordinary Viper GTS now goes for close to a half million instead of $72,000 when I try & trade it....stuff like that.

true, this handy feature doesn't work in GT4 though. :(
