When turning into a corner and you see a trail of smoke, does that mean you're a bad driver

Most of the time when i turn into a tight corner i leave a trail of smoke behind. When i exit the turn it looks good, i dont hit any walls. I get first place and stuff but it just looks sloppy when watching the reply

It means you are turning the wheels too much and are using bad driving form. Smoking the tires in the corners is causing you to go slower.

Are you using good tyres on the cars ?

Slow in, fast out is the most effective way to take a corner. Sounds like your going fast in, understeer, tyres smoke, then average speed out.

A fwd car will smoke the tires under enough understeer.

Could easily be this. I drive pretty well I think and for the stupid Yarus event I put the stage 3 turbo in it and that was all. Causes tons of smoke to come out on the corners because there is no LSD.

Go slower, use a better line. You're turning the wheels too much.
