I would just like to know if it is possible to do the tranny trick in GT5 P.
I am currently trying to beat the PP700 Pro hot lap challenge at the London street course.
I am currently 5th on the leader board and finally decided to download the top ghost replay to see where I am slower.
Instead of a long explanation I will just describe one instance: I am better on the brakes and faster at the apex of the hairpin at the beginning of the lap. But when we are in a straight line and start to accelerate he absolutely nails me to the first sector. At least 2/10ths of a second all in a straight line - its like he/she has more horsepower and less weight. It's crazy. I have tried more horsepower and more weight, I have tried less weight less power but I still can't replicate the acceleration that the number one driver is achieving. It is definitely not a traction issue, this is from when we are in a straight line and already have momentum. I also tried torque distribution but that didn't help either.
The reason I ask about the tranny trick is because I watched their replay carefully and the gear changes and rev drops are quick and very very close. Just like the tranny trick.
Any ideas? The best car to do the time in (49.3) is in a Nissan GTR 07.
