transfer data from old ps3 to new

Hey,

I had a really good profile on my old PS3 with 9 million creds and some of the best cars. But my blu ray player got broken so I couldn't run any games on it. Now I have a new PS3 and i'm currently downloading GT5, i'm on the 8gb download atm as I would like to reduce the loading times.

My question is, is there a way to get my old profile to my new PS3? If yes, then how?

Just create your same psn account on your new ps3, & use a usb stick to copy over your game save & you're sorted

While your at it if you have any other "save game" data transfer them also. If you are a Playsation Plus member you can save them online.

ive been through this before and id recommend you use an ethernet cable to connect both PS3s and use the data transfer utility.

Makes a copy of your original PS to your new one. by far the easiest way to do this.
Downloading all the updates will take longer.
