Been playing prologue online and aside from the amateur driving of some players, i'm loving it.

What i was wondering though, is whether PD might release a patch to convert the text to the players desired language. If they don't, i'll probably fork out for the UK version because of the news section and GTTV.

I wonder as well, whether it'll still connect me to the Japanese servers even after the worldwide release? Sometimes, because i'm 9 hrs behing here in the UK, there have been occasions when there has only been a few people on track, especially on Eiger. It does seem to have improved lately though.

Look out for me on Suzuka in a white skyline.

You're playing an NTSC/Japanese game, dedicated to Japanese market, on Japanese servers. It is on Japanese language, naturaly. Pay some respect to our Japnese friends. Why don't you learn Japanese? Oh, you're lazy. Sorry to ask.

You're right about the PAL version. And guess what? Sony is the company that likes your money. You'll buy 2 versions of the same game, and then probaably do the same when Japanese GT5 hits the shelves. Sony loves you, and all of us who buy 2 or moe versions of the same game. And we love Sony too.

And PAL won't connect you to Japanese servers, there are going to be "territory servers", I may presume - PAL, NTSC/US and NTSC/Japanese.

And then finally the Japanese players will be able to play the freaking game properly. They are waiting the PAL/US version more then we do, trust me on this one.

Ha ha, you're right there; i will buy the jpn version of GT5 and then probably the UK version cos i love the Turismo series so much:)

Turismo has been the reason i've bought PS1, PS2 and a PS3. Dunno how i'm gonna cope waiting for the full version to be released. Here's hoping PD release a few extra tracks/ cars to download in the mean time.
